HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DADDY!!!!

Today is my Dad's birthday!!! He is completely the BEST Dad on the planet!!! :) He is ALWAYS helping and doing a million things for bunches of people! He has always been my inspiration! Lessons learned growing up and still today make me who I am! I'm very lucky to now be able to claim him as a best friend and not just my father!

Here is just a sneak peek!!! He is growing soooooo tall now!!! Just like Poppy & Dad!!! He spent the first 30 minutes in the door (at 1am) giggling and chasing/being chased by Odie! SO CUTE & FUNNY!!!

Au Revoir Las Vegas!

Our trip to Vegas must end!! But not before a final adventure to find the car at the airport [Note to Houston travelers: no matter how excited &/or late you are BE SURE to note the TERMINAL you are leaving from along with your area number in the parking garage!!!*ROFL*] complete with a back-talking elevator! (yep, we were approaching delirious by this point!) All who left returned safely to collapse into our OWN beds!! :) YAY!! It was a terrific trip!

Viva Las Vegas!!!!

Eight friends and Vegas are a busy but good combination!! We started our morning at 5am after going to bed at 3:30am.....at this point of the trip I was at a RESTFUL 3 hours of sleep since Thursday night!!! *heehee* Good thing George was driving! (Oh yes we got his pic!! Fed him breakfast too!! Spiced up the morn for Maverick Heli's!) The things girls will do to see the Grand Canyon!! A beautiful 2 hour nap was followed by an afternoon at the spa and a night of clubbing!! [On the VIP lists!! It was crazy but cool to pass up 3 and 4 hour lines to get in!! Sometimes it pays to be ALL GIRLS!!]


Breathtaking!

I have discovered "buttonholing" in the heli is NOT my favorite maneuver! (BUT Kevin was a kindred spirit & an all around GREAT GUY who did his best to keep SMOOTH sailing for me, Bridge, & Ashlyn--who was on her honeymoon from Ireland!)

The experience left the Grand Canyon nearer to the top of my "Places I want to visit" list!

Off to Vegas, Baby!!!!

Took a whirlwind-wild-N-crazy-no-sleep-girly trip to Las Vegas with some girlZ from work!! [After arriving to the airport with 4 (yes, FOUR) minutes to spare for check-in at 5:26am!] ...AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! It was an all-inclusive adventure for sure!!! We crammed in lots of laughter, lots of fun, relaxation, rejuvenation, soul-searching & partying with a dash of courageousness!! WOW! It has nearly left me speechless and voiceless but it was all so worth it!! The only thing that could have made it better was if Neverland had been discovered around the bend! :)

Look out Vegas!! Here come the red boa girlz!! We left a literal trial of feathers from Houston to Vegas and BACK!! :)

Our pilot wasn't too sure about the Louisiana girls from Houston!! We did manage to liven up his morning a bit though!! :)
